Our HR Professionals facilitate a one-and-a-half-hour orientation workshop designed to educate you, the newly hired employee, on your earned federal benefits. You are encouraged to attend this workshop to understand the benefits you have available to you. You are also encouraged to capitalize on those benefits to do what is in the right interest of you and your family. During this workshop you will be able to ask questions regarding benefits and completion of forms for new employees.

This service provides an opportunity to meet with an HRS to review any and all changes in the client’s personal and professional life since initial employment. This process will help the client better understand the real impacts of those changes. It may require a “reset” and implement modifications and changes necessary to bring client more in line regarding their benefit selections and planning going forward into retirement.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Federal employees considering the following: Verifying eligibility/documentation requirements to retire within the next 6-12 months; Deferred, Postponed and/or Disability Retirement; Questions about their retirement benefits; A retirement date in mind within the next 1-2 months.
This service provides individual retirement counseling with an experienced Human Resource Specialist (HRS). Your 1-on-1 Retirement Consultation will include a comprehensive review and discussion of your personal retirement benefit options. It will help you better understand the real impacts based on your selected options. Your HRS will review with you each section of your retirement package and complete the application with the options you select.

TARGET AUDIENCE: All active and retired federal employees, and their spouses, who want to feel confident knowing they have someone to turn to for assistance in dealing with applying for benefits during a difficult time.
VALOR HR Specialists will help and guide the surviving spouse of the federal employee/retired federal employee upon their passing. We will work with the surviving spouse to assure them they have the information to file for their benefits. We will guide them through a time when decisions is difficult. We will make sure the surviving spouse receives all they are entitled to and will be able to begin collecting their benefits in a timely manner.
